Dental Bridges

At CoastWide Smiles we offer dental bridges to replace a lost tooth, or teeth which are missing. Your teeth must be replaced to maintain the shape, chewing and correct function of your mouth.

A missing tooth can also make you feel self-conscious and filling the space is the best way to regain your confidence and have you smiling again.

Dental bridges can be either permanently attached (a fixed bridge), or can be removable.

A fixed bridge is fitted by one of two methods. By creating the crown which is made for the space of the missing tooth, and attaching this crown to the natural tooth or implant either side of the space and permanently cementing this into place. Or a removable bridge which is a crown made and fitted by clasps to the natural teeth either side of the missing tooth

Simon our dedicated and very experienced Dental Professional, Prothetist, makes the bridges and the color and shape of the artificial teeth can be perfectly made and matched to your natural teeth. The bridges are made by Simon at a laboratory here on the Sunshine Coast.

Our experienced dentists will talk to you in detail about the different options available to you and give you further information regarding bridges and which will best suit your individual needs.
