My name is Hassan and I am originally from Persia. My parents moved to Europe when I was 14 years old and we lived there for nearly 4 years and then from Europe I moved to New Zealand.
I completed my Bachelor of Oral Health Degree at Otago University in New Zealand. I have also completed a Post-Graduate course at Melbourne University to upskill my scope of dentistry which enables me to carry out full examinations as well as doing restorations (fillings) on adults as well as children. I have been living in Australia for over 5 years now and moved to Sunshine Coast 3 years ago and which is the best decision I have ever made.
Preventive dentistry is one of the areas which I have a huge interest in. I believe prevention is the key part of future dentistry and enabling and empowering patients to look after their oral health via increasing their knowledge about overall dentistry. I am really Passionate about preventive dentistry as "Prevention is better than cure".
In my spare time, I love bush walking and hiking. I also play social soccer sometimes, but due to an old injury I do not play it as much as I would like to anymore.
I am currently the vice president of Sunshine Coast chess club (a little more sedate than soccer) where I play chess with other members of the community both socially and competitively and recently became the Sunshine Coast Chess Champion.
