About Me

My passion since starting as an apprentice Dental Technician at the Royal Melbourne Dental Hospital in 1993 has always been removable dental prosthetics. I completed my Trade Certificate in Dental Technology in 1996. I moved to the Sunshine Coast shortly after that.

I have been involved with Dental Technology training for the past 13 years and have also been teaching Dental Prosthetics since 2010 at the Brisbane University. I have been part of the development team of the Bachelor of Dental Prosthetics and currently am the course convenor. In addition to this i am a Senior Lecturer and work part time teaching the Bachelor of Dental Prosthetics.

I was also fortunate to be President of the Australian Dental Prosthetics Association of Queensland from 2014 to 2016 and am currently the Queensland State Chairman of the Australian Dental Prosthetics Association.

Because I am so passionate about my work, I am totally committed and dedicated to continuing professional development, taking courses such as Swiss Denture concept, suction effective mandibular dentures and advanced cast partial dentures.

I joined CoastWide Smiles in 2008 and thoroughly enjoy working here and looking after all of the patients I meet.

I am married and have 2 beautiful children.
